Area student named to Dean's List at UW-River Falls
The University of Wisconsin-River Falls spring semester Dean's List honoring 1,788 students has been released by Registrar Kelly Browning. To be named to the Dean's List, a full-time undergraduate must earn a grade point average of at least 3.5 on a scale of 4.0, or midway between an "A" and "B" average. From Urbana, Hannah Kress, majoring in Animal Science.
Iowa State University announces spring 2021 Dean's List
More than 10,500 Iowa State University students have been recognized for outstanding academic achievement by being named to the spring semester 2021 Dean's List. One hundred thirty-nine University of Iowa student-athletes have been named to the 2021 Spring Academic All-Big Ten team, the conference office announced Thursday. The list includes student-athletes from baseball (17), men's golf (4), women's golf (8), rowing (35), softball (12), men's tennis (6), women's tennis (8), men's track and field (20), and women's track and field (29).

Leading Online Public School Hosted Virtual Commencement for Class of 2021 on May 16Iowa Connections Academy, one of Iowa’s most experienced tuition-free, online public schools for students in grades K-12, honored the school’s 116 graduating high school seniors during an online ceremony on Sunday, May 16. The 2021 graduating class is the largest to date for the fully virtual school, which opened in 2012.
